Pandemic Success Story

During the pandemic SRCDC continued to provide support through several initiatives. Sharon has just been contacted by one of the participants

Feedback from a Believe/ Credu & Lets Interpret participant.

“Hello Sharon. I hope you are well. Sorry for the big gap to have contact with you. I had a hard summer but thank God everything be sorted with my situation. I got my Indefinite Leave to Remain and I’ve started Adult Nursing Course at Cardiff Uni. I wanted to send you big thanks for your supports during that hard time.”

Lets Interpret Project

Let’s Interpret is made possible by the support of Cardiff University’s “Live Local, Learn Local” programme, which allows our members to access accredited interpretation courses. In addition to these courses, our members benefit from:

  • continuous professional development training,
  • guidance on self-employment and
  • a coordinated network of peer support.

We also provide our members with valuable work experience opportunities by working in partnership with local organisations who require interpretation and translation support.
