We have some exciting cycling opportunities coming this summer for you all to take part in and also share.

The links to both are below so if you use social media feel free to post or share online or of course we will be doing the same so if you follow us on Facebook or Twitter just look out for our posts.

Ride For All

Ride For All is back! Our annual inclusive cycle ride is back for the first time from the pandemic. FREE to join we are going to be holding two rides, both starting from Pedal Power HQ on Saturday 11th June;

Park Ride 2-3 miles. Meet at 11:30 for 12:00 start.

Bay loop 12 miles. Meet at 10:30 for 11:00 start.

This year we really want to showcase inclusive cycling and encourage everyone to take part in one of the rides and learn more about what we do at Pedal Power.

What if I don’t have anything to cycle?

Ride your own bike or trike in the Ride For All or if you would like to hire one from us then both rides start at Pedal Power HQ on the edge of Bute Park. Our HQ Location and Opening Times

You can hire one for the ride in the same way you can any day.

Please note because of popularity we encourage all hires to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Anyone hiring will need a photo ID such as a driving licence.

Booking Your Place on the Ride

You can book directly with us at bookings and for Pedal Power members cycle hire is free for the ride, this is our little thank you to all our members for being brilliant!

You can also book using the free Eventbrite link below which just help us know numbers for the day, using this link does not book you a bike or trike so always best to contact us directly for cycle reservations.

The Eventbrite link below can also be shared so feel free to drop it into your local cycling group or post it on a forum of facebook page, we really want to get the word out there so like and shares are a great help to us.

Over 60’s Cycle Sessions

We also have a fantastic opportunity for anyone over 60 who is looking to get back into, learn, improve their skills or just enjoy a cycle around the park.

The link below is for 6 week courses of sessions for anyone over 60 looking to learn to ride, build their confidence in cycling or enjoy a wellbeing group ride around the park and meet new friends.

These courses are fantastic and run from Pedal Power including everything you so don’t worry if you don’t have a cycle.

Once booked in each session is £2 and the course will run for 6 weeks, once a week for about an hour.

The only criteria from the funders at Sport Wales are that these sessions are for people aged over 60.
